SWEET NOTES AND KISSES FROM HERSHEY.....HEADED TO Brick, NJ...please help with our journey in giving back...more info below
We
are 6th graders at Hershey Middle School and we are a student-led
Hurricane Sandy Relief Project to benefit a sister middle school in
Brick, NJ. You may have heard about our project on WGAL in Harrisburg,
PA news this week!! In Hershey we are blessed with the Milton Hershey
and his "Pay it forward " spirit, and have learned first-hand from the
hurricane and flood of 2011 that we need to give back to others. Our
6th grade class created personal letters called, "Sweet Notes" which
will be attached to a bag o Hershey kisses, which will be hand-delivered
to each 6th grader at our sister school on December 18th. But we
thought why stop there, as many of the students in our sister school
have lost their homes and are in need of financial assistance. This is
our opportunity for our Hershey community to "Pay it Forward" and show
our holiday spirit. On more information on how you can help please
contact us at the email below.
